Dr. Demartini, a native of northern New Jersey, is a graduate of Columbia College and the College of Physicians & Surgeons at Columbia University. He trained in General Surgery at Presbyterian Hospital under Dr. Keith Reemtsma, and thereafter completed fellowship training in Vascular Surgery under Dr. Arthur Voorhies and Dr. George Todd, also at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. He relocated to Connecticut in 1983, when he joined Dr. Stuart Levinson in the practice of Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Demartini is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. He is Board Certified in Surgery and Vascular Technology (RVT). He is Senior Attending Surgeon at both Bridgeport Hospital and Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport. Dr. Demartini is a member of the Medical Staff Executive Committee at St Vincent’s.
